Mister Loveless:. Wild Summer [Video]

Posted on 0

Our friends The Perez Bros have been hard at work with the band Mister Loveless to create the video for their new single Wild Summer.

The brothers describe the video as The Breakfast Club meets Tom Goes to the Mayor.” – and it couldn’t have come at a better time considering at the end of the week schools/uni break for a quick week off!

The band draw on their childhood influences of The Pixies and The Smiths to create their sound and you can grab their music for free – by just sharing a tweet -> http://www.misterloveless.com/

Check out the video below and get ready for your mini summer break!

Tremor Low:. Kingmaker [Video]

Posted on 0

Tremor Low recently teamed up with my favorite music video makers – The Perez Brothers to bring the visual side to life of their new single Kingmaker.

The track is the lead single from their new EP of the same name, and the brothers have described the video as, “A Freudian reimaging of The Exorcist.” – pretty bizarre stuff.

Check out the video for the single below, and you can also purchase the track on iTunes:.

My Second Surprise:. Bring the Sunshine [Video]

Posted on 0

The Perez Bros teamed up with My Second Surprise to do the visuals for the lead single from their new album entitled Time To Move On.

The video was shot in California and the Perez Brothers describe it as the surreal collision between Yogi Bear and Grand Theft Auto. Like all video done by The Prerez Bros, this one is nothing short of entertaining and a little “wtf?”.

The band, My Second Surprise already being weel established with winning an Israeli Grammy for their last video for the track Perfect Cure and receiving airplay on MTV Europe, the album Time To Move On was mixed by Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Iron & Wine) and is available for purchase on iTunes.

Ash Reiter:. Heatwave [Official Video]

Posted on 0

The Perez Brothers are pretty much becoming my favorite duo for directing and creating fantastic music videos. Last year their video for Kapowski – Section 8 was high in my top favorite things.

Earlier in December they teamed up with Ash Reiter to film the video for Heatwave, which is the first single off of her new EP of the same name.

Combing the fantastical elements of a magic genie with the cheerfulness of a nostalgic ice cream man, the video for “Heatwave” will keep you entertained from start to finish.

Not only is the video excellent, but Ash Reiter is a top notch vocalist. Combining folk-pop with some beach rock harmonies, the single is perfect for our South African summer.

Kapowski:. Section 8 [Video]

Posted on 0

Fresh from The Perez Brothers, their video for Oakland, California indie rock stars Kapowski is bursting around the net right about now.

Section 8 is the new single from the band, and will feature on their upcoming album Boy Dectective which is slated for release come February next year. Playing off of the futuristic sounds of the track itself, and the love the Perez Brothers have for classic cinema – the film has a rather strange, everyday Jetsons vibe to it.

The Perez Brothers have described the film as a, “Melancholy homage to Woody Allen’s Sleeper.” I really enjoy the videos these guys work on, and this one is no different.

Check out the video below, and check out more from the band by checking out their Facebook page. Also, check out more works from the brothers by clicking here.

French Cassettes:. Radley [Music Video]

Posted on 0

Based out of San Franciso, California the French Cassetes are a 4 piece unit who blend in elements of soul, French pop and a little psychedelic rock. The 4 boys in the group all bring together their own unique ideas on how music should sound, which results in some chilled out head bobbing and laid back vibes – especially on their new track Radley.

Back in August, the guys teamed up with the Perez Brothers to film the video, which was done entirely on the iPad 2. The Perez Brothers sum the video up as The Blair Witch Project meets The Little Mermaid” which is pretty spot on.

The track is taken from the bands EP Summer Darling, and you can check out the video below:.
